Polymatic is your source for semi-automated machines that suit your objectives. We provide pallet shuttle systems with built-in sensors to ensure optimal load storage. You no longer need to worry about lanes crowded with forklifts and operators. In our semi-automated system, operators only need to activate the shuttle and drive the forklift that carries the pallets. All movement inside the racking is automated.
Our two-way pallet shuttle system follows these steps:
1. Forklift Use
The operator drives a forklift to place the pallet shuttle into the channel.
2. Positioning
The operator moves the pallets into position by the channel entrance. Each pallet should be set on the load-bearing beams.
3. Loading
The operator sends a command to the shuttle to begin the loading process through a tablet. The radio shuttle lifts the pallet upward and moves horizontally until it reaches the first location. The shuttle deposits the pallet using advanced sensors that precisely control the movement of the load.
4. Repeat
The shuttle returns to the front of the lane to repeat the operation until the channel is full. The shuttle is removed from the lane and placed in another for the sequence to commence in a new channel.
